Check This Out, Clinton! Some Dude …
… just parked his car in my driveway!
Oh wait…that was me!
So we took a drive to Constantia in Glenn’s new car and had breakfast at the Barnyard Restaurant.

Erik knew what he wanted. He went straight for the sandpit, grabbed a wheelbarrow and chased the pigeons.
Although he was fascinated by the caroussel, …
… the pony, …
… and the jumping castle …
… and he really liked the big pig blowing bubbles …
… and going snort snort …
as well as the goats …
… and the brave, big kids FEEDING the goats …
… he nonetheless was happiest in the sandpit again – with Daddy of course!
Lilly was supposed to take a nap, but refused to …
… (I’m supposed to what?) and flirted with Mama instead.
Then the “adults” enjoyed the drive home …
… while Lilly slept soundly …
… and Erik kept seeing A’s everywhere …
(since he learned what an A looks like he sees them everywhere and has to point them out of course!).
Now the kids are both taking their nap and Meli is trying to motivate herself to continue painting the kitchen. Go, Meli! (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN)
Safety First
Goggles are very important you know. After all you never know what might happen when you’re …
… mopping, …
… sitting in your little sister’s Bumbo …
… or chilling on the floor.
Not many people know this, but they’re particularly important to protect your feet from …
… ehm, … EVERYTHING!
PS.: Thanks again, Andre, for the great long sleeve! It’s by far Erik’s nicest one! Just a shame that we normally have to put it into the washing after 3 hours max
Greetings From Erik
PS.: Thank you, Nobbi, for the great letter and picture!!
Family Braai
Today we enjoyed a braai with the whole Rabie family. Even Cindy and her family came all the way from Vredenburg.
Marcelo was the perfect older cousin entertaining the little ones with wonderful mud games in the sandpit.
He also patiently played cricket with Erik for whom NOTHING existed anymore except for Marcelo.
Cindy and Jacqui were wonderful niece-sitting aunties to little Lilly.
We think Ashley, Jacqui and Marcelo should move back to Cape Town!
